FSXm uses by default only 2 gb of ram -> bottle neck, and there is nothing anyone can do about it. The secret is getting a fine balance within the settings, and trying not to touch those settings down the road, which is kind of hard given the average fsx simmer is a addon monster.never the less unless you have p3d which requires a more modern beefy system with an even beefier graphics card at least 4gb.I am digressing, its just about finding the right settings balance in fsx more than anything else. The most important thing in this sim, is the settings, and realizing just how badly there are limitations compared to p3d, but then on the other hand, there are far more compatible or made for fsx only mods, because of the way p3d has been made. I think that says more about FSX than hardware / software differences. It's odd though that every game I have at the moment behaves perfectly.
